GOLF, SCENIC TRAVEL AND SAFARI IN SOUTH AFRICA

Begin with three nights at the Cape Town Waterfront, a round at Steenberg and a privately guided Cape Peninsula tour.

Continue along the coast to Fancourt for five nights and three rounds of Garden Route golf, including the dramatic clifftop course at Pinnacle Point.

The journey then moves to Botlierskop Private Game Reserve for three nights of full-board safari hospitality and scheduled game drives before returning to Cape Town for Royal Cape and a final leisure day.

Guests complete the journey on a self-drive basis using a rental vehicle arranged independently before arrival.

DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY

Arrive at Cape Town International Airport and collect your independently arranged rental vehicle.

Self-drive to The Commodore Hotel at the V&A Waterfront and check in for three nights in a Deluxe Queen or Deluxe Twin Room, according to the guests’ preferred rooming arrangement.

The remainder of the day is at leisure.
After breakfast, self-drive to Steenberg Golf Club for the first round of the tour.

Return to The Commodore Hotel after golf and enjoy the remainder of the afternoon and evening at leisure.
Depart after breakfast with a private guide for a full-day Cape Peninsula tour.

Travel along the Atlantic coastline and Chapman’s Peak Drive to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope.

Continue to Boulders Beach to visit the African penguin colony before returning to The Commodore Hotel in the late afternoon.
After breakfast, check out and begin the self-drive journey from Cape Town to the Garden Route.

Travel east along the N2, with time available for a lunch stop along the way, before arriving at Fancourt in George.

Check in for five nights in a Classic Room on a bed-and-breakfast basis.
After breakfast, play the Montagu Course at Fancourt.

Return to the hotel after the round and enjoy the remainder of the day at the resort.

Return to the lodge for dinner.
